Not much to add here, as many others have said it better lately (Brooklyn Guy and Lyle Fass), but I was blown away by this wine last night. So much acidity, pretty and aggressive nectarine, Mosel stoniness, lemon throughout. Day 2 is a little softer, getting lemon curd instead of lemon juice that kicked like a mule last night.
What a phenomenal difference between 2009 and 2010. I would never have thought this was the same wine, though I love them both. Barring a new degree in geology, and meteorology, I lean on the people that know more about certain wines than I do, but am again entranced by the complexity and endless fascination of wine.
